Hey, folks! Happy New Year! I don’t know about you, but I find a lot of satisfaction in finding out what other people are cooking or just generally enjoying in life. I think that’s human nature; we’re all curious about other humans and we don’t like to miss out on things. 😛 I think this is why I find posts like “My Top 10 Favorite ____” or “The Most Popular Recipes from 20__” so interesting. As a human, I can get a little window into the lives of other humans, and as a content creator I can see what y’all are most interested in and take that into consideration in recipes in the future. For all you fellow curious folk out there, these are the recipes that you – my blog readers – loved most in 2019!

Comment Below!

Did YOUR favorites make the list? See any recipes that you plan to try soon? What are you currently obsessed with in the kitchen?

For Your Convenience

If any of these recipes are found in my cookbooks, I’ve included the page numbers. NF = Necessary Food and CF = Convenient Food, of course. CLICK HERE to check out my cookbooks if you don’t have them yet! If you’re jumping into healthy eating here at the beginning of the year, these books would be excellent resources for you! Hard cover and spiral bound for ease of use and durability and full of healthy renditions of my old Mennonite church cookbook favorites + some zany Briana specials, of course. 😛

#10

Crustless Pecan Pie in a Bowl

Scoop of some kind of sugar free vanilla ice cream basically imperative.

#9

Pumpkin Delight

(NF, page 368)

This Pumpkin Delight has been on my site for years. It’s a classic.

#8

(NF, page 13)

Basically last minute supper when I didn’t get meat out to thaw. Natural peanut butter and sugar free syrup = my toppings of choice.

#7

Chocolate Dreamy

(CF, page 261)

Under the creamy chocolate Wendy’s Frosty-like façade lies a full cup of okra. Still one of the most popular recipes of all time on my website.

#6

Bri’s Better-Than-Ranch Dressing

Easy to whip up + cleaner ingredients than storebought Ranch + better flavor (imo).

#5

(NF, page 123)

Any picky eaters are sure to be won over with this classic creamy mac and cheese dish! (Use the sauce over steamed or roasted veggies instead of Dreamfields pasta if you prefer.)

#4

Fiber Porridge Bulk Mix

Who knew how many of you need help getting things moving in the morning?? 😛

#3

Chicken Leg Quarters in the Crockpot (and Some Other Crazy Experiments)

I’m still a bit baffled as to why this was the third most popular recipe on my website last year, but maybe y’all like reading about healthy cooking and strange experiments in less-than-ideal circ*mstances! This post was published when I was living in a basem*nt with few cooking amenities while working for my grandparents one summer.

Honorable Mention

This post I listed as an honorable mention because even though it was actually ranked number three in popularity last year, it’s not a recipe. Unless you consider it a recipe for love and a good marriage. 🙂 This was our official wedding picture post!

#2

Briana’s Baking Mix

(NF, page 157; CF, page 345)

This is the homemade baking mix I use in a lot of my baked goods recipes! It’s received tons of great reviews over the years and it doesn’t contain any almond flour, so those of you with nut allergies, head on over! My mix is a little drier than THM Baking Blend and some people use about 3/4 cup of mine for every cup of THM Baking Blend, but other people use it 1:1.

#1

Single-Serve Lasagna in a Bowl

(NF, page 60)

Hey, we made it to number one! This single-serve quickie lasagna makes the perfect lunch or dinner when you’re on your own.

Runners Up

(NF, page 385)

Strawberry Almond Soft Serve

(NF, page 242)

5 Ingredient Raspberry Cheesecake Mousse

Instant Frozen Coffee Pudding

(NF, page 249)

Briana’s House Low Carb Chocolate Chip Cookies

(NF, page 310)
